If she is close to her due date it could be she is in the early stages. My females usually get the runs and spit up a bit a few hours (or right before) they are about to give birth. I just had two litters ... one this past Friday and one Monday night.... My Wilma (this was her first litter) only had a little runny stool and gave birth fairly easily. My Lucy (this was her 5th litter) had the runs for about 4 hours (real fun!!)... then spit up about an hour before she gave birth... she had a harder time... the puppies were bigger... two.. a male and a female... both 5.8 ounces each (they are the largest puppies my girls have had).... They usually weigh in the 3 to 4 ounce range.
