Just and FYI, Friends of Animals sells spay / neuter certificates for $90 for a spay, BUT when I called a vet in Toms River that participates they said the $90 for the certificate does not include blood work which they require which would cost an additional $138, and it does not include the office visit which is $61.50 and it does not include the stool sample they require which my guess would be around $40 so in the end you are saving some but not much and here in NJ the best route seems to be the $150 through Popcorn Park or if I want to travel 50 miles I can get it done for $100.00. I cannot believe how expensive the vetting is in this state as to others posting. It cost more for the vets then a pedatrician visit for God's sake. UGH. |
