LOL...Mia is my shadow, also...sometimes when I am looking around for her to make sure I do not step on her (I was 'cat trained' already lol), she can be so hard to see because she is always directly behind me. lol
I hope this is not a 'bad' story to tell...it was certainly amusing to us when it occurred Monday evening.
DH is usually home from work before me with enough time to take Brody and Mia for a walk outside, feed kitties and puppies, and sometimes start dinner. The "Mommy's Home!" phenomenon at our house always brings much excitement, and since they know the sound of the truck and my motorcycle, and outside will run to the driveway but inside, bounce, hop, dance, yip, err, whine, and run to the door, etc. DH always knows when I am home! lol
Monday night, they were outside as usual doing their 'thing' when they heard our truck. Knowing Mommy was home, they lit out at light-speed-plus-Yorkie-squared running to the driveway to meet me. I saw a kitty ' out on watch' in the driveway first, then saw a flash of Yorkie-ness or two from the side out of the corner of my eye , and stopped the truck immediately...as I always do when any of my babies are around.
When I opened the door, Mi was there first...but there was a reason.
Brody had been in 'mid-poopie' when the truck first appeared and when Mia lit out, so did he...still in 'mid-poopie-crouch' position...still poopie-ing on-the-run! DH couldn't even pretend to catch them...what with rolling on the ground with laughter! It was difficult enough for him to tell me about it...he had to stop talking to laugh. It was the first time he'd seen a dog 'multi-task' in that way!
Hope this was not considered 'in bad taste' or a poor excuse for humor!
