I agree. I have 4 Yorkies ranging from age 4-1 and they do not get free rang in my house. Still when they was small I would let them out of their nursery and watch them closely. This way when i saw them getting ready to go off the wee wee pad I'd give them a firm NO while taking them quickly to the wee wee pad. I also had wee wee pads all around because depending on their age an size they might not be able to hold it till they get to the pad. This way multiple pads was around and as they got older I picked them up until their was only two spots for pads. They are very smart and as long as your consistent they will pick it up quick.
