As for tips...Sophia does NOT like having her picture taken...so I have a few things I try. I put her somewhere she can not easily run away from...like this little cushioned bench. Sometimes I put her in her favorite place on a couch or chair...then she is comfy while I take the pictures.
Then, for me at least...it is just take LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of pics and hope for a few good ones. I cannot even begin to tell you how many I have to delete just to get one decent shot!
Another tip is to wait until they are relaxed and tired...as opposed to excited and anxious. I often take pics right after bath. They look great and they are also a bit tuckered out from bath time. Good luck!!
