Hi, Lou and Miss Annie!

I had two females (not Yorkies) who went into early heat...and it does catch you off guard a bit 'cuz they seem so young when that happens. Although I kept my females separated from the males, and was extremely careful when they went out to do their bit, I still ended up with two litters of pups 'cuz not everyone else was as careful...and males and females are pretty creative when females are in heat.

If your little lady, Miss Annie, is outdoor trained and you do not have a fenced yard or outdoor kennel, you might want to be extra careful when she goes outside. Male dogs will be able to tell from farther away than you might think. You can also get 'visitors' at the door at all hours...in case you start to hear barking, scratching, whining and pawing...

Glad you are here...would love to see pix of Miss Annie!
