I had a DNA test done on my Cookie and she came up Yorkie and Border Terrier. I am quite sure that was accurate. I always knew she was a mix, but she had a wiry coat and I just knew something else was there...border terrier makes perfect sense.
I have seen people get some very strange results from the swabs.... |
^^ This. I've heard the swabs are pretty inaccurate most of the time... but that's definitely interesting about the blood test. I may be interested in doing that, depending on how costly it is. Did you do the blood test for Cookie? What kind of info do you have to give if I was trying to see if Jackson is a Silky or a Yorkie for example? Because I highly doubt he's got anything else in him but one or both of those breeds. It's really just a curiosity thing...
