well he may be crying then because he needs to potty That medicine could be making him feel like he needs to go. I would take him out more often to see if that helps. Give him some kind of stuffed animal to curl up with (something that has no parts he can chew off and choke on) and sometimes a radio on can help. Is he warm enough? Move him close to your bed so you can say hush and reassure him everything is okay. And of course if that all fails you can put him in bed with you. thats how all mine sleep. But you must have a safe way for him to get on and off your bed so be doesn't jump and hurt himself. good luck
