Default Dental prices = poor house

Bella needs to have a tooth extracted. They left me a voice mail with prices for a dental with extraction ranging from $365-$631
First of all, she is elderly and doesn't have very many teeth left; has some, but not a lot. They mostly fell out. I think a big part of that is her medical condition (addisons disease) and has been on prednisone for years.
I am literally shocked they want to charge me that much. Am I wrong? They have literally gotten every penny out of me for this dogs care due to her illness and several emergency stays, not to mention the medication she is on is the most expensive there is (docp injections). I have also been very ill this past few years and my care has cost me thousands, plus I have 2 other dogs. I just don't have anything left.
Sooo, are these charges reasonable or do they seem excessive? Especially for so few teeth, or are the charges mostly the anesthesia??

I'm also afraid to put her under in her frail condition and she has an enlarged heart. Yikes!

Thanks.
