When a dog (or anyone else) bleeds after an injection it means they have hit a blood vessel. If the person is doing a proper injection theyshould pull back on the syringe plunger before injecting to make sure that they are not in a vein. Certain immunizations and medications can be quite harmful if they are injected directly into a vein. Some people fail to do the check to determine the placement of the needle because it is quicker not to. You might want to be wary of letting the same person give anymore injections to your baby.

Our vet won't give 3 injections at the same time to a small dog. We make a tech visit appointment a couple of weeks later to get the additional injection.

The Omega 3 supplement should help with the skin problem. Some dog foods have the fatty acids in them but others do not.

Hope she is back to her happy self today.
