I want to start grooming my puppy. He's a Yorkie-mix and just 4 and a half months old.
Well I actually have clipped his nails and trimmed his hair when hes asleep (i know this is cheeting
) but I want to be able to do it when he's awake.
What do you guys recommend for this for anyone who does at home grooming themselves? I have been trying to get him used to it by touching him all over, his paws, face etc, but he still squirms and sometimes yelps when I clip his hair. Also I bought some clippers and have introduced them to him, but haven't tried them yet.
I think I will keep his body hair relatively shorter and his face longer, kind of like a long puppy-cut
He is really squirmy and active so I think grooming will be a challenge. I think he has ADD....
