I am so sorry...I so know that awful feeling of leaving them like that. I will definitely keep him in my thoughts and prayers. If the vet said you caught it early, that is a good thing. After this bout, I suggest that you perhaps follow up with a specialist. He may need a special diet. Some pups are more prone to pancreatitis than others. Please don't blame yourself for this...they really do not know the real causes of pancreatitis. It is not something that you have done!
