The first day they are usually kind of sleepy and sore. The second day Gracie was feeling better and the third day I would hardly have known she had surgery. Dog's recover much more quickly from these things than people do.

I have never used a cone on any of my animals after surgery and I have had many spayed and neutered. Of course if your not with her you may want to have one on her just in case. I hate those hard plastic things the vet has. It is so stressful on their necks. Someone on YT was selling the soft cones in a small size but they are also available on amazon . com. I guess it's too late for you to order one though.

She will be better before you know it.
