I was really nervous..... and wasn't sure what to expect.... but once I did a couple and got the feel and sound of the Snip it wasn't bad. I just did a teeny bit of the tip, so I will probably need to do them again, soon.
I brought the clippers around Riley for a couple of days, for about 15 mins. at a time....before I tried to do anything. He had a bad experience at the vet's office once where they clipped too close to the wick..... and at first he was showing his teeth at them. That's why I'm so surprised he let me do them. But he lets me do anything to him. I would rather do it than have him uncomfortable with someone else.
