Good for you for speaking up!!! Dogs can't tell you how they were treated when they were away from you, but you gave that dog a voice. I would have wanted someone to speak up for ZoE if I wasn't there to do so. I'm sure that dog would thank you because his owner probably won't take him back there to be subjected to such rough treatment.
