I'd be like you. My options would be between taking him with me or leaving with parent. I'd probably choose to leave him with my dad in that case - if he was going to be spending a lot of alone time in the hotel anyways, he would probably be better off with my dad. I bring him with me whenever I can, because obviously, he prefers being with me over anything... but yeah, in that case, I think I'd leave with your mom.
