Thats why the dog shouldnt be cutting the cords the breeder should. I have heard of alot on here from losing the mom, losing the pups, losing both, pup born with intestines on the outside (nothing can be done for them), Mom killing pups and on and on. I will tell you from my situation with cats My cat had a litter of 4 kittens and one by one they all died except one dispite my attempts to hand feed them and save them. The one that did remain I had to hand feed at the time of weaning with a tiny doll spoon to keep her going because the mother wouldnt nurse her and she wouldnt eat food. I also had her at the vet at the ASAP when she had diahrea and also an eye not opening by the developmental age it should open.
