I've read both for and against using people products. I bought Tigi Pet Head products for Bubba, the Dirty Talk shampoo and Furtastic Creme Rinse. Both work well. I have also diluted my conditioner (bumble & bumble), 1/2 tsp : 2 cups water, pour it on, wait two minutes (massage his legs and feet while we wait
),then rinse clean and that works great too.
I also made a conditioning spray for Bubba using some of my Frederic Fekkai Glossing Creme, I use this for daily brushing when his hair is dry. I always spot test on his belly and wait a day to make sure he doesn't have a reaction to anything, even dog designated products.
Hopefully some "pretty silky coat" pros will chime in with their advice and tips. I read on another thread someone mentioned coconut oil, I'll be picking some of that up tomorrow.
