Asked to leave Target? Was she in your purse-type carrier? I did that once, but I wasn't asked to leave...
I brought her to a local coffee shop that I visit daily once. The staff was friendly, they didn't mind. But this other patron in there had a major cow! He even threatened to stomp and squash my baby! My friend and I looked at him, thought he was joking (he looked "high"...) but he just went on and on. He said, "You think your dog is small, so special that she's allowed to come in?!"
I told him to back off and if he did anything to my baby, I'd make sure he pay for it. Then, we left.
Haven't been back to the coffee shop since.
