Here is a website for you that will answer all your questions. ADA Business Brief: Service Animals There is NO law that requires and special training or certification for you dog to be a service dog and you can train them yourself. You also don't need anything from a doctor saying you need one. This is part of the Disabilities Act and regulated by the Federal Government - No State supersedes this ruling. All they ask you do is identify your dog with maybe a vest and maybe carry a copy of his/her vaccination, but this is for your convenience only.
