Plus I'm almost afraid to close my old site because it is in so many of my message boards and social sites. I put so many long hours into building it..uhhh what to do? I have it set to private right now until I am 100% satisfied with my new one. |
You will have to give your site a lot more time to be picked up by the search engines. Also, you don't want to close your old site. You want to 301 redirect your old domain name to your new one. You can check with the company who is hosting your old site. That way, if someone types in
www.dawnsoldsite.com (ie) then it will auto direct them to your new weebly site.
