Hi! Welcome. I think you are going to have to slowly reduce the chiken for the kibble always feed them together. It will get to the point were he only will have kibble and he might not want to eat it at first but when that hunger hits he defenitely will. If you keep feeding chiken it is going to get harder to change as time goes by.
