Usually it does because I take the diaper off of course when I take them outside to potty and then put it back on when they come back in...if they are indoors all day because of weather or we are away I would change it when we return...so at most two a day
Plus if they do a little tinkle in it the moisture stays away from their skin...just like a babies.
