Congratulations on your lil puppy. All you can do is hope things work out ok and be prepared for any issues of hypoglycemia or other possible problems. You'll be there with your puppy and that is necessary. The reasons they need to stay with their moms are that they learn where to potty, bite inhibition, behavior, and socialization issues. Many puppies do fine. It also depends on the individual puppy's particular personality, too. You have lots of help available if you need it. I'm sure you're very excited about your new family member.
