RAINEY I know how you feel. I lost my husband and one month later lost my little yorkie we had 10 years due to cancer. I was so upset and alone my son took me to look at yorkies and I ended up coming home with one. The breeder said she was 8 weeks, which is still young she was so tiny but I raised toy poodles for years and since there was no one but me to take care of I agreed. When I calmed down enough to look at her AKC papers I discovered she was only 7 weeks old. The lady told us she had just been diagnosed with cancer herself and she had this litter of Yorkies and a litter of Maltese to sell before she started chemo. I have spent every minute with her. Took her every where I went inside my jacket. I only went thru drive thrus and the pet shop. Just try and relax and enjoy your little baby. You both will be fine. Wish we were in Hawaii now lol.
