Roxy used to always want to bite the brush when she was young. She never made any move to bite me, it was always the brush. It took awhile, but I just kept at it calmly and she got so she finally accepted it as part of the daily ritual. She enjoys it now. Make sure you are using a brush that feels good to her skin. Use a detangler spray if tangling is a problem. Give her lots of praise when she's doing good with it and a treat of choice when you're done.

Let her know the biting is not acceptable behavior.
