i have one for buckeye. he hasn't been in it for a long time but he loved being in it. and the vet said it was ok. that is the way we took him into home depot. he loved being in it. you have to make sure the size is just right for them. or i think it would hurt them. make sure the tail hole is fit right etc.
Oh and i for got to mention it is great for clipping nails too.
