my dear sweet Kiva who died last Oct had that name because she was a gift from my husband who is finnish so i wanted to name her something in finnish. i looked online at finnish words and suggested Kiva meaning cute. he said "naw" but when his mother said the same word but pronounced it differently he said "yea." men.

my second girl who i will be bringing home in March is named a very special name ~ Hailey. she is named for all the loved ones we lost last year: my 28 yr old niece Casey Hill, my close friend Kia, my dear sweet Kiva, and my wonderful huggy aunt Alma. Hailey's name has at least 2 letters from each name and seeing that she'll will be helping the whole family heal from such a horrible year i think it's very fitting.
