I used to tease my dd.. Some of the things they would come up with. My oldest said she thought vietnam was the name of a war.. Not a country. Really!
In my classes ..they have a hard time with measurements and kitchen math. But I will say they know what hyperboles means. I guess it is what the schools test for..
