Hello everyone. I am new to the site, but am a proud Yorkie owner! I received Molly as a gift for my birthday almost 5 years ago. It's hard to believe that she will be 5 next week-she still acts like she did the day she was given to me.
Molly's birthday is February 10th, 2007. She loves car rides, and really loves to hang her head out of the window. She is a protector, no one is allowed to get close to me, unless she's in my lap (she has to be the closest). She is so loud, she barks at everything because she has to alert everyone, and if another dog barks-she has to be louder!
She loves other animals, her best friend is the rottweiler next door, and our shepherd mix Sadie. She gets along better with big animals. She is afraid of nothing, and goes after everything. She scares me because she is not timid at all, so I have to keep a very close eye on her.
When Molly was a puppy she chewed through my nightstand, my blow dryer cord, and many other cords until she met her match with the power cord on my TV. After that, she was done chewing on things.
I'm very protective of her, and if someone doesn't like my dog.. we will not be friends
. She's uses my fiance to get close to me. She will act like she wants to see him, but as soon as he picks her up she runs to me. She doesn't take treats from anyone except me. She is SO picky when it comes to them too. She eats very few kinds, and you can throw the idea of trying to get her to warm up to you by giving her something to eat right out of the window!
Since I was only 19 when I got Molly, I think I definitely made her spoiled rotten. But I wouldn't have her any other way
. It makes me proud to know that everyone she meets wants a dog just like her, and they can't get enough of her. I know every person that has a Yorkie thinks that their dog is the cutest... and I am no different
. Molly is beautiful, and the most unique dog I have ever come in contact with.
I am so excited to find this forum, and I look forward to sharing my Molly with all of you-I hope you all think she is as cute as I know she is!!
. Also, I can't wait to hear stories from other people who share the same love I have for Yorkies, and to have such great people to get advice from.
