I hate bringing this topic up again to everyone, but I went to the vet on Friday and we spoke about the vaccinations. She said that the Lepto was to prevent Lime disease from any tick bites. If people have opted not to give there baby this vaccination, what is there to be sure she does not get lime disease from a tick. We take her to Cape Cod on the weekends which is notorious for having ticks? I am just worried that if she does not get that vaccination then gets bit by a tick with lime disease she will become really sick?? Any other suggestions? Also, she did say that by law in MA all puppies needed to be vaccinated after 12 weeks of age. I am still not doing it until she is at least 6 months though. She is hardly ever outside anyway she is only 12 weeks today. Thanks for all the help everyone so far on this topic!
