Parvo takes 10-14 days to show up, so if you just got him. And he's showing symptoms, he had it before. We had our pup 3 wks and the vet said he probably got it from our yard-other dogs use the bathroom and owners leave it and the virus gets in the ground.
See if the vet will allow you to hold him. We did skin to skin contact (works for NICU babies) and I basically tucked him into my shirt and I rocked him and talked to him and sang to him and let him know how important he was to our family.
