Another couple words of warning.....DO NOT let your baby walk on the floor into the vet office...remember, that is where SICK animals are congregating for care...you have NO idea what all those other sick dogs are carrying and shedding unknown viruses all over the floor....I do not let strangers in the vet office, there with their sick animal, pet, hold, or even touch my babies........Same goes for PetCo and PetSmart...they have those rescue dogs come in, and you again do not know if any of those dogs are sick or what they have....we have had several rescue centers close down or abandoned in the area...the SPCA went in there and those poor animals were in deplorable condition, sick, neglected, etc. Parvo is rampant down south, and I take NO chances. They also allow the pets to walk all over the store, shedding goodness knows what disease on the floor....if we go to PetCo, I put a bath towel in the basket area where I put my baby, so she is not in contact with that NASTY cart.....call me crazy, call me over protective, but I do not ever again want to have a baby of mine ill with parvo.....
