I have a friend with a large yorkie who is 8 years old and just now diagnosed with parvo. He is current on all his shots and receives the best of care. Yet he has gotten parvo. The authorities believe the continued warm weather here in southwest Florida could be the cause for the numerous cases. Please be careful with your dogs, one of the reasons I always use a mobile groomer is to protect Keno from sick animals. A dog can have the parvo virus without any symptoms and infect other dogs.
