 Marking the bed?
Do dogs do this?
I have a 9 month male yorkie that was neutered 2 months ago. When he was very young there were a few accidents on his bed but nothing for the past 5 months.
3 weeks ago we adpoted a 3 month female maltese.
3 times this week the bed has been "peed" on. The 1st time i have no idea who it was so i washed it and put it back. Then it happened again and i knew it was my male yorkie even though i didnt see him doing it. This time I didnt give them the bed back and they had to share 1. The las night I put the cushion from the other bed down and again this morning he did the same.
now he doesnt "pee" on the cushion that he sleeps on. he takes this off and pees on the actual bed. And he only does it when there are 2 beds there or one bed and one cushion.
So, is he marking?
could i fix this with a bed with a non removable cushion?
should i just buy one big bed for them both? |
