Well from what I have learned its not a good idea to use this on a Yorkie. Yorkies tend to have sensitive skin and the SLS tends to take the oils out of the hair and skin. I would reccommend BioGroom, and natural and relatively inexpensive shampoo. Be sure to get the conditioner. And misting spray. I personally have never used SLS shampoos on my baby Amara because I was fearful of her coat stripping and her skin becoming dry. But A Yorkie with a silky coat could pretty much benefit from an all natural shampoo. My baby has a more modified coat. But Natural is the way to go. I hope this helped.
