Well I do live in the country and we have all kinds of critters. We let our big dog run loose in the yard. He pretty much takes care of anything that wonders this way.
He has been known to chase away rabbits, squirrels, deer, etc. We see more skunks than Opossums. Maybe you need to get you a big dog? Ha ha. He would take care of all the problems!
