I pray the swelling is just a symptom of the potential hyperthyroidism. Mine still swells up a bit, and so does my father's (we both have had hyperthyroidism and never had them removed). I had a severe case, but my thyroid did not produce a goiter in my neck. Instead, it grew "arms" toward my chest/shoulders.
I pray the ultrasound brings Ken and you good news.
