I know a lot of people have been buying paintings from waistful, or anyone that has things that they need framed...... you can do it and get a professional look for REALLY CHEAP....
for example....... If you have an aaron brothers/ michaels around, you can take a peice of art or a picture, and match up a mat to it (the mat is the green/cream peice around teh rose in my example) and get a frame that fits with youre decor at home, AND the picture... in this example i used a frame that had vines/leaves on teh outside to further express the floral motif... it is VERY EASY and VERY CHEAP...
The frame was $18, and the matting i allready had at home (i think they sell for $3 or so)... so this whole look has a profesional look to it and it only costs about $20
(waistful.... i hope you have your pen scribbling down these hints REALLY FAST) lol
