As many of you know my DH has been fighting stage IV lung cancer since August. His last CT scan in January showed the cancer was stable. Since then he had an abnormal blood test showing he may have hypertyroidism. We have tests and endocrinologist visits next week. This morning Ken told me to feel his neck as it felt swollen. I felt 2 enlarged lymph nodes and a 3rd that was just a bit enlarged. I am so scared they are the cancer spreading because he had a swollen lymph node removed in August that showed it was stage 4 lung cancer spread to his neck nodes. The new swollen nodes are on the same side as his primary lung tumor. I am so scared and can't stop crying. I have a call in to his regular doctor but he is booked today and out tomorrow. So I am waiting for him to call and see what we should do.
