If you do research on Embrace Pet Insurance you will see that they get top ratings. They are a great company and they stand by you. Even their accident only insurance would cover things like a dog getting hit by a car or a dog eating a bunch of poison or clothes.

They are not a hassle to deal with. Even their CEO will talk to you personally. I have used the insurance on my daughter's Chihuahua about 2 weeks after we moved to a new state. It was a crazy time and our dog got a pulmonary edema by choking on her own vomit. I didn't even have a vet in town yet so the last thing I wanted to do was to worry about how much things would cost. Embrace reimbursed me all that my insurance covered.

If you go with them just make sure your vet(s) send any and all health information to Embrace. They want everything from the time you've owned your dog even things like vaccination iformation or well dog checkups. This way all you have to do is have your vet fill out a short one page claim form, have the vet fax any new health information including the one you are claiming on, and have the vet fax along receipts for the illness/accident, and you or the vet can fax in the claim form. You get your reimbursement back fast.
