What it consisted of though, basically, was 2 of those white metal retractable poles (the sort you might have in a closet?). They had taken some nylon meshing and made a wide hem at either end. The poles were then slotted through and placed within the doorway, horizontally.
It depends how high your Littlies can jump, as to whether or not you can just step over it, or whether it has to be 'retracted' every time!

Thanks! It just has to be tall enought that the dogs can't get over it, including my Labs. That sounds like it would work, if it was wide enough.
The width is my BIG problem!
