Bigger dogs can have doggie doors, which allow them to relieve themselves when nature calls, however, it's not safe for a small Yorkie and because of predators, one should watch them when they go outside. Also, I like the idea that a dog can go when he wants to go instead of waiting for a human to open the door, so pee pads work perfectly for me. If you own a Yorkie, you can’t worry too much what other people think, they just don’t understand.
