I have a new outlook on dog foods now that one of mine will be using an RX diet. After years of trying every limited ingredient food on the market and nothing helping her I believe you need to address the issue at hand. When a dog has IBD or allergies like mine you need to use what will help them. There has been nothing on the market so far that worked over the haul with her. So I can no longer make blanket statements regarding foods like Science Diet being of lesser quality. You need to look at the specific they are formulated to address and how that formulation will help with the specific issues of your dog.
