I think someone who needs to rehome for a really good reason, medical, death, new crazy hour job etc then what's best for the dog is best, period.
What I cannot stand is someone who gives away a dog because of training/behavior problems (their fault), or because cute little puppy grew up to a not as cute or small dog.
Case in point, a lady I know has a dog and she wants to give him away because she is getting a NEW DOG!!!! That is going to be "smaller" and "cuter". BARF I really read into her, I think thats mean mean mean!!!
