Burns are ridiculously painful, I am so sorry! So glad your little one was not hurt. This is exactly why I have taught my dogs that they are not to be in the kitchen when someone is cooking. They still try but are quickly shooed away and are getting better at watching from the doorway. Everyone always laughs at that rule, but it's situations like this one that totally warrant it!
