This puppy is a blue/chocolate color and I have never seen this before so I started trying to find some info on it. One site said that a "blue born pup" will only survive for a few days and if it does live, that it will eventually loose all of its hair and get leathery skin that is very painful to the dog. They recommended that I have the pup euthanized. This is very disturbing to me and I want to find out all that I can before even considering doing this. Any info or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Michelle | A friend of mine has just had a litter of 3 Blue born pups and 2 Traditional. It was a HUGE shock to BOTH of us. We hope they are very healthy and stay alive. They are Blue with some chocolate color. |
