Thank you again all of you who were praying and posting your concern.
We never did figure out what caused his illness. Hubby and I think he ate something that didn't agree with him. Outside? Inside, something that was dropped, human food? Walking in the park - though we watch him pretty close. I did have 2 room carpets cleaned this past week. We wondered about the chemicals used on the carpets. I vaccumed them well after I thought of that one. The vet said it could be stress...but the only thing we could come up with on that was the morning he chased a cat resting on the back patio. He was pretty worked up. Basically we have no idea.
He seems to be pretty much back to normal. I am so relieved. I am also thankful to yorkietalk friends and just being able to share. You all are awesome.
