I'm so glad to be home with Gracie most of the time. She hardly knows what it's like to spend the day all alone. When I do leave she gives me the pout face but she doesn't cry. I imagine she must go climb up on the bed and take a nap while I'm gone. |
I know what you mean about leaving "these precious darlings alone". Romeo has never been alone at home and I'm afraid to even test him and see how he will react for a couple hours. I'm so paranoid about leaving him that I even pass up overnight business trips!
Fortunately I have my daughters and my mom to Romeo-sit when I must go somewhere and cannot take him -- the office and food shopping. He's always happy when I get home but he won't let me touch him for hours :-( because he's showing me that he is upset that I left him behind.
