I print hundreds of photographs a week and I use four printers.
Three are Epson my preferred printers for photographs but I also run a Brother which is my preferred printer for documents.
Why do I like Epson so much ? well the ink is cheaper and separate cartridges and the Brother only has four cartridges against the Epson's six.
Once I have printed my photograph I spray it with a UV and water proofing so they never fade and can be handled with no problem.
I cannot do this with documents so there is always a danger of wet fingers making the ink run. |
I'm a fan of Epson too, but it's hard to believe that the ink is cheaper! Didn't know about the spray, I ruined several photos I've printed, what type do you use?
